In the large group of steel tubes, precision steel tubes occupy a special position due to their mechanical and dimensional characteristics obtained during cold forming by drawing or rolling. The results obtained can be used selectively, for example by increasing hardness values that can only be obtained by heat treatment on hot-rolled tubes.

HPL tubes are cold-drawn, seamless precision steel tubes, primarily intended for use as pressure pipes in hydraulically or pneumatically operated equipment.
